HC Lokomotiv has entered into an agreement with defensemen Alexei Marchenko. The agreement with the Olympic Champion of 2018 is signed for 2 seasons.

Alexey Marchenko is 28 years old, he is a alumni of the Spartak Moscow Academy, but spent his entire professional career in Russia as part of CSKA. In 2019, Marchenko, along with the Army Team became the the Gagarin Cup Champion.

As part of the Russian national team, Alexey Marchenko won the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and bronze medals of the IIHF World Championship 2016. In the same 2016, Alexey played at the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto.
